According to volunteers working at the home “The welfare of thirty four children is at stake” following the unjustifiable removal of all but three of the children who have been given care at this home which has been denied to them by the DOSD.

The founder of the children’s home Dianne Lang, who also gave account of her struggle with the DOSD and the South African Police force in her book Saving Mandela’s Children, has been living as an exile in the UK for the past two years, due to death threats. Dianne who is seriously ill, mainly as a result of her harrowing experiences, is now at her wit’s end as to how to win this battle with the DOSD and its Chief Social Worker for the Middelburg area, John Pienaar, in particular.

According to Dianne, the DOSD recently made it clear that they did not want to deal with her “due to the constant and continual lobbying to government to improve service delivery and to stop all violations of children’s rights by government officials”.

Despite all efforts and contrary to what was agreed with Johan Pienaar of the DSOD and the Commissioner of Child Welfare in Middelburg, the children were removed from their care without knowing where they were being taken or what was being planned for them.

Without much needed and frequently requested funding from the DOSD, the home has relied heavily on private funding and the assistance of volunteers, mainly from Europe. One such volunteer described what happened on the day social workers removed the children from the home:

“The attitude of the social workers seemed very cold and aloof. They did not appear to communicate with the children to explain where they were going to, and no checks were made as to what medication they had to take with them or any interest shown in confirming how it had to be administered. For one child, Thandiwe (name changed to protect the child’s identity), they even left in the car before we had time to package his medication for him so he went a night without taking it”.

On previous occasions when children had been removed from the children’s home, the results have been appallingly tragic. Previously abused children had been placed back in the care of abusive families or in inappropriate institutions which has resulted on at least one occasion in further abuse and even the death of a child.

The current managers and new trustees of the Emmanuel Children’s home, Carol and Bertus Deysel, will be doing everything in their power to ensure the continued safety of the children who have been removed from their care.

If INJUSTICE ANGERS YOU, If stories of CHILDREN being raped and murdered, ENRAGE YOU , If you can’t STAND DISHONESTY in the GOVERNMENT and IF A COUNTRY TRUMPING UP CHARGES AND TRYING TO MURDER AN INNOCENT WOMAN who is living in MORTAL FEAR, PISSES YOU OFF, THEN GOOD, PLEASE JOIN THE FIGHT TO SAVE DIANNE’S LIFE, AND TELL THE STORY SOUTH AFRICA DOESN’T WANT HEARD.
This is TRUE STORY of Death threats, Murder, Vice, Rape, Prostitution, Scorpions, and one WHITE WOMAN’s ( DIANNE LANG) attempt to love, save, and provide a safe home for Africa’s forgotten Black street children. How did this all start? It started when Dianne tried to get justice for a tiny voice, a voice that was silenced much too soon, her little life snuffed out just days short of her reaching 4 months old, by a policeman who raped her, killed her and discarded her like garbage

For Most of you, the name Dianne Lang will mean nothing, but she is a modern day hero, as close to Joan of Arc, AS I have ever encountered and she NEEDS OUR HELP!!! YOUR HELP!
I implore you to help me SAVE DIANNE’s LIFE, by talking about her to anyone you know, especially public officials, famous people, OPRAH.. ANYONE who can help effect change and help Dianne go back home to her beloved children. They miss her.
A fifth generation South African, card carrying member of the ANC, this white woman, rebel angel, made it her mission to save Mandela’s forgotten children. These are the disposable ones, South Africa’s children of shame, the ones who live on the streets because their parents have died from AIDS, not TB as they would prefer you to believe.
She has been targeted for death. Why would they do this to an innocent woman? Obviously she did something wrong, right?
Well the truth is they are afraid of Dianne, because they fear what she has uncovered and that one day, the truth will come out about their years of neglect, corruption and liberal abuse of power.
One day soon, someone with enough power to stop them, will believe Dianne and the good life will come to an end. So in order to preserve their lifestyle, they have told her to watch herself, for they are gunning for her.

"Whether I live or die is immaterial. What matters is that others continue the fight until all the children in South Africa are free from fear ……that they may grow up to responsible and happy adults who will be asset to society"

These words were spoken by the BRAVEST woman I know, My friend Dianne Lang.
Dianne is the author of " Saving Mandela’s Children’, the true story of two years in her life when she went from an HIV AIDS worker in South Africa to becoming the mother to 62 orphaned street children. During this time, Dianne rose to become one of the most prolific and outspoken Human Rights Activists in South Africa. She has won several Human Rights awards, and was even named one of South Africa’s 6 HEROs in 2002 by the International Marketing Council of South Africa.

South African legistlation calls for the guaranteed right of children to shelter, food and education and for years, Dianne has been fighting for these rights on their behalf. She continues to do so.

For years, Dianne has been the saviour of South African children. Ever since 3 orphans were left on her doorstep, Dianne has become an instrument of love and a safe haven for many children. She would troll for them down by the restuarant, aka the local Garbage Dump and encourage them to come home with her where she could bring them back to health. Some had AIDS, most were malnutritioned but within weeks, the difference in their countenance was noticable.
Dianne took them home to socialize, educate, feed and look after their health and most importantly, give them as much LOVE as possible. She wanted to give them hope but there is no hope in South Africa. No hope where the government is corrupt and allowed to treat its citizens with such disregard.

Time is running out now as Dianne fights for her life in England, far away from her beloved children. She is on the run for her life from a Government who is dead set on keeping her quiet and in the process has succumbed to a life threatening illness. Although she is in touch with her beloved children each every day, they want to know when MAMA D is coming home.

.For years, Dianne has fought to get antiretroviral drugs for her children and her community who are HIV positive and dying from AIDS, with no avail.

For years, Dianne has been trying to protect and uphold the laws that are supposedly in place to protect children under 18, or so its says in the South African Constitution. She continues to fight daily even while deathly ill.

Do you want to help> Dianne needs donations for the home, Volunteers to run it and if you are interested in buying CARE HOUSE, please let us know.

IF you wish to visualize healing her, think of her riding with her face in the wind, a big smile on her face, she is happy and strong and her blood is pumping through her rich and red full of nutrients and her cells are busily making new red blood cells and her army of white blood cells are being called together to mount a big attack ..should it be necessary.

The Guests on my show are people who are living out the embodiment of a Mission Unstoppable lifestyle.

They took a dream or a goal that others said was Impossible and went after it no matter. It didn’t matter what anyone said. They scoffed at the naysayers and they came out the other side, living out their fantasy, their dream life. These people have designed their lives and are living it on their terms. No one ever said that FEAR wasn’t present but they never let fear stop them from having, being or doing what they set out to do.

Attitude is only part of the equation to becoming unstoppable. Belief in yourself and a child like faith in knowing that just because you can’t see things, doesn’t mean they don’t exist, will take you there every time.

Mission Unstoppable the Radio show is a weekly call in show and I would love to have you listen call in or let me know if you think you would make a great guest.

This is a picture story of Luke. Luke came to Dianne a sick little boy, but he was able to get a bit better, grow a few more teeth and I am told,he loved his biscuits. He loved to scrape it across his teeth and it made him laugh. Luke had AIDS and with no medication, he became very ill. He died in Diannes arms. The cemetary was for WHITES only until Dianne fought for Luke to be buried there. It took Dianne and many of the older children all day and night to dig through the VERY hard earth. The Cemetary staff refused to dig the grave. With a pik and shovel, the ground proved to hard, so with tin jam cups, dianne and the children scraped away the earth and went 5 ft down, in order to bury Luke. Everyone of his brothers and sisters attended and his special friend Sam, the first of Diannes kids, left him a gift at the end.

What a beautiful child Luke was. Dianne searched for his Mother so she might say goodbye, but apparently she had died of AIDS as well. Most of these children have had a very hard beginning, and there has not been much pleasure or childhood for any of them in their few short years on earth. Please give to the Dianne Lang Foundation. Dianne has been supporting these children on her own money for years.

The South African agencies DO NOT have a program for street children. When Sam and his Sisters first showed up on Diannes Door…she took them to children’s services so that they could find a home for them. She was told that there are no programs for street kids, and just put them back on the street where she found them. Astounded, abhorred that animals at least have a shelter, Dianne did the only thing anyone with a heart and conscience would do, She brought them home. She took them to a doctor who told her they were very ill. That they had AIDS and were dying. They didn’t die, and today they are still thriving. This has been the Miracle that has been accompanying Dianne.
